Total and complete mind f*ery!  Up, down and all around...this one will leave your head spinning.  DH and Ker co-wrote this seamlessly...you would never know it was written by two authors.  I think this was probably my first co-op book.  I was a little skeptical, not knowing if I would be able to see the different styles because all author's have their signature flair.  That's what makes them unique and successful.  DH and Ker must have the same demented, warped (in a good way) mind because their styles compliment each other perfectly.

I don't really even know how to review this one without giving anything away.  It is a must read for anyone who loves the dark, grittier plots with a huge dose of the unknown because for most of this book...you have no freaking clue what the truth is.  Just when you think you have it figured out...PLOT TWIST...

I really connected with Star, the lead female.  She is feisty, smart and driven in finding the answers of her missing memory.  Dante...Dante...He is one messed up a$$hole.  I was just as confused as Star when she started remembering, not being able to reconcile the past person with the present.  How could a person be so different and what happened to make him change into this evil, tormented being.  And then the ending slaps you in the face..dun..dun...dunnnnn!  HOLY CRAP!  I didn't see that coming at all.  Waiting for the next book is going to be pure torture!
