Finally… Grace sees me in a different light. The banter is flirty, the sex is fun, and the future looks fabulous.I just hope she feels the same way when she finds out what I did.

What...the...?!?  I'm still reeling from this one.  Can you say CLIFF HANGER?  But it is torture in a good way.  The anticipation gives us something to look forward to every two weeks.  I honestly don't know what the hell I'm going to do with myself when this crazy train is over.

*Steps up to mic* I am a Social Media addict...and friggin' proud of it!

JA whops a punch with Status.  Ok, I know I said I liked Block the best in my last review...but that was before I read Status.  I was GA-LUED to the pages...I had to know Vaughn's secret...I had to know Grace's past.  The mystery/thriller aspect of the plot is heating up.  That is JA's write kicka$$ mystery/thrillers but still manage to keep them sexy as hell.  I don't know if you can really classify her writing in one genre.  It's what separates her books from the rest and keeps us coming back for more (actually begging for more - seriously).

So, in Status to give you an idea without spoilers, you will question everything you thought you knew about the characters up to now.  What you thought you had figured out, throw it right out the window because this one will twist and turn in ways you never dreamed it would.  The cliff...H-O-L-Y Crap!  I think the world will be full of screaming women on release day.

J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).

She has an undergraduate degree in horses, (yes, really–Thank you, Colorado State University) and a master’s degree in forensic toxicology from the University of Florida. She used to have a job driving around Colorado doing pretty much nothing but shooting the breeze with farmers, but now she just writes, runs the New Adult Addiction and Clean Teen Reads Book Blogs, and runs an online science classroom for homeschoolers.

Novella (100ish pages)
Adult Contemporary Romance

All the best fairytale princesses have the most horrific pasts. Mine just happens to be more horrific than most.

Fantasizing over Vaughn Asher was a dream. Meeting Vaughn Asher was a fairytale. Loving Vaughn Asher was my downfall.

The past is always there. Waiting. Waiting to expose you. Waiting to ruin you. Waiting to take you back.

Sometimes not even a prince can save you.
